For Lilikoi Sacred Heart, I reimagined this familiar symbol through the lens of Hawaiʻi's natural landscape. Twisting lilikoi vines, passionflower blossoms, ripening fruit, and native botanicals come together to form a heart that feels both wild and alive a reflection of growth, transformation, and the beauty found in every season.
Painted in watercolor on handmade deckled edge paper, this piece celebrates the balance between strength and delicacy, reminding us that the deepest roots are often the ones we cannot see.
