Honu Sweethearts is a reflection on companionship, quiet devotion, and the kind of connection that feels effortless. Moving together through hibiscus blooms, the two turtles represent love that is steady rather than loud gentle, grounded, and enduring.
Painted in watercolor on handmade deckled-edge paper, every detail was chosen to evoke softness, warmth, and a sense of calm. Rather than capturing a specific place or moment, I wanted this piece to express the quiet comfort of moving through life beside someone you trust.
